The NetSmartz Workshop greatly appreciates your help in raising awareness about Internet safety. In order to continue to successfully accomplish its mission, however, NetSmartz must protect its intellectual property.
Policy Regarding Use of NetSmartz Trademarks
NetSmartz does not allow the use of its name, logo, or other marks (whether registered or not) without its express written consent in the form of a License Agreement signed by authorized NetSmartz staff members.
Questions about and requests for use of NetSmartz’s name, logo, or other marks in connection with fundraising efforts and product or program promotion should be directed to the NetSmartz Workshop. News agencies and all others may direct requests to the NetSmartz Workshop.

Terms of Use and Linking Agreement for NetSmartz Banners
NetSmartz appreciates your use of its banners to promote Internet safety. You may use NetSmartz banners on your web site, so long as your use complies with and you agree to the terms and conditions noted below.
- You will not modify any NetSmartz banner in any way.
- You will actively link any NetSmartz banner you post on your web site to http://www.NetSmartz.org or http://www.NetSmartzKids.org.
- You will not use any NetSmartz banner for any commercial or sponsorship purpose.
- You will not use any NetSmartz banner in any way that may create the impression NetSmartz benefits from the sale of your goods or services.
- You will not use any NetSmartz banner in any way that may create an impression of endorsement by NetSmartz of any individual, entity, product, goods, services, program, event, or web site.
- You will not use any NetSmartz banner in any way that may create an impression of affiliation, sponsorship, or partnership between NetSmartz and you.
- You will not use any NetSmartz banner in any context that may tarnish NetSmartz’s name or reputation.
- You will not use any NetSmartz banner on any web site that includes pornography or any content NetSmartz finds in its absolute and sole discretion to be lewd, obscene, vulgar, harassing, defamatory, offensive, or objectionable.
- You agree to immediately remove NetSmartz’s banner(s) from your web site if instructed to do so by NetSmartz.
- All goodwill and improved reputation relating to any NetSmartz marks generated by your use of such NetSmartz marks will inure to the benefit of NetSmartz. Nothing herein is intended to give you any rights in any NetSmartz marks.
- The laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia shall govern this agreement.
- You acknowledge NetSmartz may periodically update this agreement and you are responsible for checking www.NetSmartz.org to learn of any changes.
